Dear Administrators, There not many sources where we, English-speaking community may have a pleasure to watch movies in English. I would recommend you to advertise your service much wider. Not many people know about your “once-per week movie in English. We went this week and there were only TREE people in. You have no idea – how many people would love to see movies not in Russian and Ukrainian languages! One more thing: please ask your support personal not to walk in and out during movie. It is very disturbing. Good luck!

What does "Zhovten" mean? In Ukrainian it means "October". So it's good time to visit the "October" cinema :).

Try to help you :). Really, an administrator of Butterfly Ultramarine Cinema answered that they don't show English movies because they usually show only Warner Brosers movies and there are no new Warner Brosers' movies in Ukraine for now. "Zhovten" cinema doesn't show English movies for now because they provide some movie festival, so they promise to show English movies soon. Visit my blog in a week, probably I'll have some news about movies.
ReplyDeleteWinter is rather cold this year, so if you came to Kiev this year, it is better not to walk by streets, but visit cafes and cinemas. Ukraine Travel Guide provides all necessary information about places to see in Kiev, look through a directory of Kiev cinemas for example. There are also contacts of hotels, taxis, theatres and everything you need during Ukrainian tourism.
